TXO takes on the National Three Peaks…from home

We may be in the middle of a global pandemic but this won’t stop us from fundraising for a good cause. For this year’s Children in Need fundraiser, a group of 10 brave hikers from TXO’s team took on the elements and collectively climbed the height of the National Three Peaks…from their staircases at home. This is three of the UK’s highest mountains – Snowdon (Wales), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Scafell Pike (England), a total height of 9,800ft.

We’re proud to share that off the back of the challenge, we managed to raise £520 to donate to Children in Need. Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who kindly donated.

How does the challenge work?

The 10 brave hikers taking part were: Andy Greenhill, Cora Park, David Evans, Drew Burman, Ellie Tadman, Beth Kirby, Patrick Lloyd-Bradley, Peter Mason, Sean Cook and Christie Jeffries.

Each hiker climbed 148 flights of stairs (up and down) to complete the 9,800ft ascent collectively by the end of the week.
