In this Q&A, Fulvio gives us a behind-the-scenes look into his role and why he is proud to work with TXO! 😀
Let’s get to know Fulvio!
When did you join TXO and can you describe your typical week?
I joined TXO in April 2022, just before we opened in Sweden. So I am still a newbie (compared to a lot of people who have been with TXO – we’re talking decades!). As Warehouse Manager, I am responsible for the overall direction, compliance, and performance of the operations here in Eskilstuna. It is up to me to make sure that we are on track with company objectives and that we operate at the high standards we’re proud to provide. I also take care of the booking-in of items and of course, helping out the team where it is needed.
How has your career progressed since working with us?
Although I started in April, I have already had the opportunity to develop my career here. I started as a Warehouse Assistant and have progressed to the Warehouse Manager position. I am proud that I have been involved at TXO Sweden from the beginning, helping to establish warehouse operations, and am excited to be a part of the continued development of TXO.
What are the top 3 things that you like the most about working at TXO?
1. That we work in the circular economy and are making a real difference to the planet
2. The people I work with are friendly, open, and dedicated to their work
3. That TXO is a business that is constantly developing and gives me the opportunity to grow with it
What is it that you love about what we do?
I love that we reuse or recycle, instead of focusing on production. For me, it is the way to go. ♻️
If you were our CEO for the day, what one change would you bring about?
That’s a hard one, being a CEO is a hard task, and looking at our achievements and results, ours (Darren Pearce) is doing a pretty good job. But if I had to, for one day, I’d probably try to find even more ways to be even greener!
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I am a really good pasta and pizza maker! 🍕
What’s your favourite flavour of crisps?
Lins crisps!!
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Right now moving into my new house, which is taking up most of my spare time! But usually, I enjoy playing the guitar and trying new things as I love to learn new skills.
Which of our brand values resonates with you the most? And why?
‘Dynamic’ and ‘Trusted’ would be my choice of values. I am very passionate about being sustainable and kinder to our planet and I believe that these values are essential to making greener choices.
What’s your funniest TXO memory?
My colleague Matthew started a joke that I look like the German football manager Jürgen Klopp and it has stuck, so now I’m known in the office as Jürgen!
