We’re investing in our 100G testing capabilities
We recently purchased the VIAVI T-BERD/MTS-5800-100G. This pricey bit of kit is an all-in-one dual-100G handheld unit and it supports comprehensive rate testing ranging from DSx/PDH (1.5M/2M) through to 112G OTU4. What’s also great is that it allows us to test throughout the lifecycle of a network, including fibre testing, service activation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
As a circular economy company, we’re all about extending the life of telecom network equipment including both end-of-life and legacy kit. This is why we love this new testing tool as it allows us to support both legacy and emerging technologies.
